Bills auto-imported from the National Assembly

We poll the NASS bills tracker and surface candidates that have at least one progression stage populated (first reading, second reading, committee, or third reading) and aren't already in our curated registry. Use this as a discovery aid — promotion to the public /laws/ page is still a manual editorial decision.

Honest data caveat: the NASS bills tracker is publicly served but its data hygiene is poor. Many recent (10th Assembly) bill movements are documented only in periodic "BILLS PROGRESSION CHART" PDFs that the NASS download endpoint serves as empty files (server bug). The most recent activity in the public JSON feed is from 2020. Use this view as a historical sweep — for current pending bills (like the State Police Constitutional Amendment), source from press releases like the AP article we used for that entry.
