The FCCPA 2018 established Nigeria's first comprehensive competition and consumer-protection regime. It creates the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) and a Tribunal, repeals the Consumer Protection Council Act, prohibits price-fixing, abuse of dominance and monopolies, and moves merger review from the SEC to the FCCPC.
